Journey with Hope

Joshua asked the Commander of the Lord’s army, “Are you for us, or for our adversaries?” The answer was “No.” Joshua needed to understand that the question was not whether God was on his side, but whether he was willing to be on God’s side. Before Jericho, Joshua had to submit to God’s authority and follow His plan. Do we sometimes ask God to bless our plans instead of surrendering to His?

When Jesus calls, will we trust Him enough to follow? Peter went from empty nets to a life forever changed simply by obeying Christ. His journey shows that faith is not about perfection, but surrender. Jesus calls us to leave our plans, trust His, and step into the unknown. Will we answer, or hold on to what feels safe?
