Journey with Hope

Prosperity can quietly blind us to sin. In Jeremiah’s day, warnings were ignored because life seemed stable and blessed—until judgment came. Scripture shows the same pattern throughout history: comfort dulls conviction, warnings are resisted, and sin becomes normal. But God still calls us to repentance, obedience, and peace with Him while it is still called “today.”

It doesn't happen overnight. A marriage can slowly grow cold when love is taken for granted, and the same thing can happen in our relationship with God. The church at Laodicea thought it needed nothing, but Jesus saw a very different reality. Complacency quietly steals our zeal, our gratitude, and our dependence on Christ. He calls us to repent, seek Him wholeheartedly, and love Him with the passion we once had.
