We admire strength, ability, and success. But what happens when we don't have what it takes? Scripture turns our usual thinking upside down. God doesn't depend on human power or achievement to accomplish His purposes. Our weaknesses can teach us to depend on Him, and even our definition of success may need to change. Who gets the glory when God works through us?
What happens when our weakness collides with circumstances that seem impossible? Scripture repeatedly reminds us that our limitations do not determine what God is able to do. Abraham trusted God's promise, Joshua and Caleb believed God could give Israel the land, and three men entered a furnace believing God could deliver them. How might our weakness become an opportunity to trust God's power?
