Freed from sin’s slavery and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we no longer live for ourselves but for God and others. Are we dying daily so Christ may live through us? “To live is Christ, to die is gain.”

Our culture celebrates self-reliance, but Scripture calls us to something greater—dependence on God. True peace and strength come when we stop trusting our own wisdom and start trusting His. When we rely on God through prayer, His Word, and His Spirit, we find rest for our souls and purpose for our lives.

It is easy to give in to the feeling that we have been abandoned by God. Our circumstances may be bleak, our health gone, our loved ones...

We can wander far from God without realizing how far we have gone. Like a child distracted on a dangerous path, we may continue in sin while wondering why God seems silent. But God has not abandoned us. He calls us to repentance, welcomes us when we return, and wants us to surrender our will to His. The safest path is the one walked closely with Him.
