Journey with Hope

Compassion is more than pity. Jesus saw people who were weary, hurting, and lost, and He was moved to act. Christian compassion does not keep us at a distance. It draws us closer, asks what can be done, and sometimes requires us to be inconvenienced for the sake of another. As followers of Christ, we are called to show God's love not only with our words but with our actions.
