When Jesus told Saul, “It is hard to kick against the goads,” He revealed a powerful truth: resisting God does not strengthen us; it unsettles us. Saul thought he was serving God , but he was fighting Him. How often do we do the same? Peace is not found in resistance but in surrender to Christ, whose yoke is easy and whose burden is light.

Can Christians love people without becoming friends with the world? Scripture says yes. Biblical love is sacrificial truth, not approval of sin or compromise with darkness. Jesus loved deeply while always speaking truth. God calls us to discernment, repentance, and holy separation. We are to love others as He loved us, offering grace without surrendering truth for worldly acceptance.

God rebukes worship that looks right but is rooted in self. Isaiah 58 shows that true worship is not just prayer or fasting, but compassion, justice, and love in action. When we care for others and walk in obedience, God restores what is broken and calls us Repairers of the Breach. The question is not what we say in worship, but how we live it.

When the Lord looks at the heart of man what does He see? God desires a heart that shows true repentance, not excuses for our sin. May God truly search and know us for who we are.

What causes true spiritual revival? In Nehemiah chapter 8, the people of Israel gathered to hear the Word of God read and explained after years of captivity. As they understood the Scriptures, they were convicted of sin, moved to repentance, and filled with joy in the Lord. Real revival does not begin with emotion alone. It begins when God’s Word is understood, believed, and obeyed.
